Do you need dust mites treatment for your home? How would you know if you did? What is dust mites treatment? It is best to start by answering a couple of questions to determine your need for this service. How often do you change the sheets on your bed? How often do you have your mattress professionally cleaned?

Most people change their sheets at least once a week, but when it comes to the question of having their mattress professionally cleaned, the majority of people have never done so. Some are not even aware that this service exists. This is very conducive to the growth and development of dust mites, however, and should be taken care of as soon as possible.

House dust mites are microscopic organisms which live in the dead skins cells in your home. These cells are shed regularly by humans as well as their pets, such as dogs and cats. They are often overlooked because they are considered to be harmless to many people since they do not carry disease. They can cause serious allergic reactions in asthmatics, however, as well as others who are allergic to the faeces of the dust mite.

It is good to note here that although they are often confused, the dust mite and the bed bug are two separate organisms. The reason for this confusion is simply that the people who are allergic to dust mites will itch. They may also have sneezing, watery eyes, runny noses, and nasal congestion. Many mistakenly think that the itching is due to being bitten by a dust mite, however this is not the case. A dust mite does not bite. The itching is due to the allergy to the faeces of the organism.

Another difference between bed bugs and dust mites is the size. Dust mites are not visible to the human eye, as you can literally fit thousands of them on the tip of one fingernail. They normally live in beds, where one third of their life span takes place. Most mattresses have anywhere from one hundred thousand to ten million dust mites living inside of it at any point in time. They also reside in pillows, where up to ten percent of the weight of a two year old pillow can be composed of dead dust mites and their faeces.

Dust mites prefer to live in warm, moist surroundings, such as a mattress with people lying on it. Their favourite meal is human and pet dander..which is dead skin flakes from you and your pets. Humans lose about one fifth of an ounce of dander or dead skin every week. To get an idea of how many of these flakes are in the air, look at a sunbeam. Around eighty percent of the material which you see floating there is actually tiny flakes of skin.

If this has you itching already, you may want to let All Aces Services clean your home using dust mites treatment.
